So My First Post Is On Beauty Essentials.
1. Maxfactor masterpiece mascara! Wow, I actually said wow when I first applied this mascara, it really can not be beaten for length, volume and doesn't smudge or clump! The wand is also what makes it so awesome, you can buy a cheaper brand but just transfer the wand - this will give you a very very similar effect.
2. Olive oil. Oils are fantastic beauty products, they contain no nasty chemicals like all the beauty creams and blemish treatments on the market, that will damage your skin in the long run. Olive oil is a brilliant moisturizer, it gets rid of blemishes without trying the round about skin area like blemish treatments in the shop. It is great to use when shaving, gives you an incredibly close shave. It also gives the skin a lovely healthy glow. Extracts of Olives are what makes the expensive wrinkle products so expensive, it is amazing for wrinkles - see Rachel Ray for reference!
3. Mary Kay full coverage concealer, I have been a sufferer or acne since the age of 13, thank God for this concealer, you can not even tell I have it! It provides full coverage, it looks incredibly undetectable, lasts all day through sweat and all kinds of weather.
4.Highlighter, use on the eyebrow bone and the corners of the eyes to open up the eyes. Use above the cheekbones to add structure, on the arch of the top lip and the middle of the bottom to make them appear fuller. Benefit highlighters are by far the best, they come in two shades for dark skin tones and light. But Boots number 7 do a good alternative.
5. White eyeliner, place this on the inside rim of the eye to brighten and widen them =)!
6. Coconut oil, I use this as a makeup base, wait five mins before applying the makeup otherwise it may look cakey! Unlike moisturizers that attract water to the surface for a short period, only to dehydrate it in the long run, coconut oil actually hydrates the skin as it sinks in. It is great for fighting and preventing wrinkles, healing damaged skin. It can also be used as a hair product. Use half a tea soon and smooth over damp hair, be careful to avoid the roots as otherwise this will look greasy. Provides great shine and gets rid of frizz.
7. Foundation. Foundation covers 85% of skin problems while concealer only covers 15% - it is best to always use foundation and then concealer when hiding a blemish or dark circles as concealer will come off if foundation is applied over it. Foundation is actually very good for the skin, if you buy it good quality as it creates a protective barrier against dirt and the harsh environment.
8. The body shop cocoa lipbutter. Smells lush, like chocolate, it really deeply moisturizers the lips and contains no harmful chemicals!
9. The Body Shop Aloe Exfoliator. This product is great, it contains no harmful substances and leaves skin fresh and smooth. It is always important to exfoliate otherwise any oils we may use can not penetrate the skin as the dead skin cells will be in the way. Exfoliating gives skin a glow, gets rid of skin flakes and loosens blackheads. It is important to use cream concealers, as the microbeads in scrubs actually cut at the skin, be sure to exfoliate gently and at the max of 3 times a week or else you could irritate your skin. Once a week should be enough =).
10. Sunscreen. One of the main causes of wrinkles is sun damage. We only need 15 mins in the sun per week to get enough Vitamin D. Sunscreen is always a must to protect yourself against Cancer and wrinkles. SPF below 15 is ineffective, the more stars the sunscreen has the better the protection, sunscreen containing antioxidants will neutralize free radicals (what causes skin cancer), look for sunscreen protects against UVB and UVA.

''In the winter the UVA rays are still there. It is the UVB rays that are the burning rays but the UVA rays that do not burn, penetrate 30 -40 times deeper into the skin and destroy the skins collagen structure.

UVA rays will penetrate through clouds, glass and even clothes. This is why you should still wear sun protection even if you have darker skin and do not burn. Trust me, you will be thankful for it when you are older and you look ten years younger than everyone else!''
11. Blush. Blush makes skin appear healthier and more youthful. For a cuter look apply to the apples (the fleshy part when you smile) and for a more sophisticated look, to emphasize or create cheekbones, suck the cheeks in and apply to the dents in the face. Powder blush offers longer staying power, a more matte look - best for those with oily skin. Cream blush, offers a fresher more dewy look - best for those with dry or normal skin. Mousse blush is a new addition to the blush world, this usually looks matte but can be used for all skin types. You can also buy cheek tints, which have great staying power, though can make skin break out if problemed.
My favorite cheek tint is: Benetint by benefit. You can also use this on lips as well, it always looks best to have similar color cheeks and lips.
My favorite powder blush: Dandelion by benefit. Looks glowy and fresh, perfect for pale skin girls.
My favorite bronzer/blush: Dalas by Benefit - looks healthy and natural, not to sparkly but with just a hint of shimmer, This is also a great blush of dark skinned ladies!
My favorite mousse blush: Maybelline dream matte mousse. Looks killer but has poor staying power.
12. Eye drops are great for zits/spots you can use them to take away the redness and bring down spot size.
13. Teaspoons. Lol, to get rid of dark circles place two teaspoons in the freezer for ten minutes then place them over eyes for another ten.
Always apply sunscreen and oil in an upward circular motion to prevent wrinkles. Extra Virign oils are always the best as they are most pure.
